    38 countries and territories. Canada, the United States, and Mexico; all seven Central American countries; and the full Caribbean: Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, and the smaller island nations and territories from Anguilla to Trinidad and Tobago. Greenland, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico are separate colorable regions. Looking to color individual US states instead? That's the US states map.

    How it works

The map shades every matched region from low to high with a numeric legend. Pick the number of classes, equal-count or equal-range breaks, and a color ramp, then download the choropleth map as PNG or SVG.

    Is Puerto Rico on this map?

    Yes, Puerto Rico is a separate colorable region here. (It is not on the US states map, whose projection covers the 50 states and DC.)

    Are the small Caribbean islands individually colorable?

    Yes. Zoom in and each island nation and territory, from Saint Kitts and Nevis to Curaçao, is its own clickable region.

    Is Map Maker free?
